教師的觀察、記錄

在Nursery， 教師是根據 Curriculum Guidance for the Foundation Stage 來設計表格進行觀察的；而在Up to Three裡則是根據 Birth to Three Matters 進行觀察記錄。

1) Up to Three 教師的觀察記錄

在每間活動室裡， 也被分成區域活動:

Main room ( sand area \ science area \ maths area \ graphics area \ role play area \ fruit (drinks) area \ music area \ ICT area \ book area )

（玩沙區 \ 科學探索區 \數學活動區 \手工活動區 \角色扮演區 \點心區（喝水、水果 \音樂活動區 \電腦活動區 \閱讀區 ）

Art room ( model making \ paint \ music (dance) \ water \ malleable \ book area \ wood area )藝術活動室 (模型製作區 \繪畫區 \ 音樂舞蹈區\玩水區 \ 藝術表演區\故事區 \結構區 )

Garden room ( Loft \ Large construction \ small world \ book area \ home corner ) 花園活動室( Loft \ 大型積木區 \小世界 \閱讀區 \娃娃家 )

Garder Area ( physical development \ sand play \ water play \ graphics area \ imaginative play \ investigative) 戶外活動區 (身體發展活動區 \玩沙區 \玩水區 \圖形區 \想像活動區 \探究區)

每個區域有一位元主要負責的老師， 在他所負責的區域內必須每天召集大家討論並制定計劃，

但每位元員工經常輪換區域負責記錄， 這樣他們對每個區域、每個孩子都很熟悉。

平時， 老師把紀錄記在紙上， 記下孩子活動時的語言、動作等。 然後放在相應的信封內（信封貼在牆上）， 每天下午3：45大家開始討論所記錄的或看到的情況， 把討論的情況記錄在周計畫內, （周計畫分正反兩面， 反面是weekly evaluation， 正面是weekly planning）----根據birth to three matters分四個部分A strong child 堅強的兒童 \ A skilful communicator 嫺熟的溝通者\ A competent learner 有能力的學習者 \ A healthy child 健康的兒童。 上面有發展要點， 有效做法， 計畫和方法等，

先進行每天的評估。 然後根據今天孩子的興趣制訂明天的計畫（也是根據這四個部分）， 在計畫一面寫上每個孩子的名字， 在名字下寫上要提供給他們的活動、環境以發展他們的興趣， 記錄表格分為兩種。

下面是教師在04、11、9日對Riyad的活動記錄（當時Riyad正坐在地板上拿著透明膠帶畫畫）：

每個學期， 對每個孩子都進行一次review, 第一學期的review分五個面。 從第二個學期開始分四個方面， 然後根據birth to three matters四個方面寫一份關於這個孩子的報告， 簽上key-worker和中心負責人的名字， 所有這些都必須和每位家長進行溝通。

2) Nursery 教師的觀察記錄

Curriculum Guidance for the Foundation Stage 是關於3—5歲的指導性檔， 分為六個方面：Personal , Social & Emotional Development \ Communication , Language & Literacy \ Mathematical Development \ Creative Development \ Knowledge & Understanding of the World \ Physical Development ,Visits

教師的觀察記錄也有兩種， 但都包含三個方面， 即observation觀察、evaluation評價、what’s next下步計畫。 下面是教師在04、11、17日9：50對Sana的觀察記錄，

因為孩子們對故事Rama & Sita非常感興趣， 這天是主題的深入， 舞蹈家用音樂和動作來表演這個故事。

Observation: listening interesting to Rama & Sita, participating in story actions when Diwali lady asks. She enjoys the Diwali dancing . “I like this music.” She copies the dancing from dancer—raise hands \ arms into the air, slides her feet, bends at knees.

Next step: Participate in more multicultural activities to gain further knowledge of other’s culture.

每週Ben根據大家的討論結果， 把這六個大方面分成21個小點（每週的目標）,教師根據這些目標和每個孩子的情況， 寫上孩子的名字和需要在哪方面得到發展。 填在Weekly Learning Priorities的表格裡。 再討論提供什麼樣的機會， 創設什麼樣的環境填在Nursery weekly sheet的表格裡。
